A friend of mine recommended Tad Williams's books to me, for which I'll be forever grateful. The novels showed me a beauty within the Fantasy field that I've never experienced before. I've been moved by the characters as I've never been before in any Science Fiction or Fantasy novel I've read; they seemed very lifelike and real.
